Try Documentalist, my app that offers fast, offline access to 190+ programmer API docs.

How to see which files are being processed:
var debug = require('gulp-debug');

gulp.task('css', function() {
  return gulp.src('./sass/*.scss')
    .pipe(debug())
    .pipe(sourcemaps.init())
It's more complicated for browserify:
var browserify = require('browserify');

gulp.task('js', function() {
  var opts = {
    entries: ['js/App.tsx'],
    debug: true
  };
  browserify(opts)
    .on('dep', function(dep) {
      console.log(dep.file);
    })
    .plugin("tsify", tsify_opts)
    .transform(babelify, babelify_opts)
    .bundle()
    .pipe(exorcist('s/dist/bundle.js.map'))
    .pipe(source('bundle.js'))
    .pipe(gulp.dest('s/dist'));
});
The magic is in .on() pipe.
