New in the SumatraPDF [pre-release builds](https://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/prerelease):

## Take Screenshot

New `Take Screenshot` command (`CmdScreenshot`) in the `Ctrl + k` command palette captures the desktop and every visible window. An overlay shows thumbnails of the captures, labeled with process name and size. Pick one with the mouse or arrow keys and press Enter to save it as a PNG in the `Screenshots` folder of the SumatraPDF data directory.

## Default zoom for images

The new `ImageUI.DefaultZoom` advanced setting sets the default zoom level for image files (default `shrink to fit`).

## Switch tabs on/off without restart, menu bar with tabs

`Toggle Use Tabs` (`CmdToggleUseTabs`) switches between tabbed and non-tabbed mode right away, with no restart. The menu bar can now be shown when tabs are on; before, it was only available without tabs.

![Two documents in tabs; F9 shows the menu bar in the title bar row above the tabs. Settings > Advanced Options..., UseTabs double-clicked to false and Save: Apples and Bees each get their own window right away; the same with UseTabs = true puts them back into two tabs of one window](https://youtu.be/4hXRbHDwZbk)
