## Read Aloud (text-to-speech)

SumatraPDF can read text aloud using Windows text-to-speech. **Read Aloud** (`CmdToggleReadAloud`, command palette and a toolbar button) reads the selected text or the current page. Pause and Continue (`CmdPauseReadAloud`, `CmdContinueReadAloud`) control playback, and the toolbar button's drop-down lets you pick a voice.

## Citation and reference hover preview

Hover over a link inside the document, such as a `[1]` citation, a figure reference or a footnote mark, to see a small popup of what it points to: the bibliography entry, figure or footnote. You don't have to leave the current page ([#128](https://github.com/sumatrapdfreader/sumatrapdf/issues/128), [#4221](https://github.com/sumatrapdfreader/sumatrapdf/issues/4221)).
